Diary review:
El dorado OG 2
Welcome to this first Diary Review!
Let start with this El Dorado OG from Paradise Seeds that grew in the Arcade Grow Box!
It mostly grew in a 60x60x80cm space.
Final yield was around 90g with a nice 45g bonus thanks to its clones.
This plant only received low stress training, with a little twist, it's actually planted from the side of the pot.
So basically the idea was to have it start horizontally, and then bend it around the pot to have a nice circle.
That was a fun experiment, will probably try it again, but with topping early on.
Will flip to bloom in a week or two:)
It's growing nicely, there's a bit of bending to do in order to keep everything at the same height.
Temporarily Added a few clones in there:)
Bending the tip of both branches to close the circle.
Ok we finally have branches that are long enough to close the circle.
Let's add a few wires to keep everything in place.
Circle done, let’s give a few days then flip to bloom😋
Circle done, let’s give a few days then flip to bloom😋
Making a but of space for light to go through.
Ok so now that everything is bent, we need to defoliate a bit.
The point is to have all future budsites well exposed to the light.
Looking good. A little bending session will soon be needed to spread all that apart.
Also looks like I forgot to mark down a watering here.
More bending to spread those branches apart.
Let's add a few more wires to keep those branches flat.
The plan now is to fill the whole horizontal space of the box.
Also we can push the vegging time a bit longer since we're getting a pre-harvest with the clones:)
Last defoliation before switching to bloom schedules.
As usual a little defoliation session is done after bending branches.
To accommodate with the new branch layout.
Tkaing the whole space now, blooming soon:)
The horizontal space is getting filled.
This box has a 60x60cm surface, which is a bit much for a single plant.
At that point I thought I would flip to bloom soon, but it actually happened 2 weeks later. Flipping at that point could have been way enough already.
And we can already see our next upcoming bending session.
Next time I start the plant from the side of the pot, I'll probably top it too.
That would make it much easier to keep everything symmetrical.
