Everything you need to know to grow your own plants.
Cannabis stretch defines a fast and strong vertical growth.
First signs of stretch will happen during seedling stage, your plant will aim to reach the light source. During seedling and vegetative periods, the stretch is constant and so simple to control.
Stretch is also used to describe the following weeks after you switched your light schedule to bloom. During flowering stretch your plant will go crazy and her height will double or even triple.
Tame the stretch, when growing indoor, is really important. Especially in micro growing when height and space is a rare commodity.

Germination is the first step when starting from seed :)
This guide will teach you how to successfuly germinate your seeds with a battle tested method; the shot glass.

Hey :) In this guide we're going to help you figure out how to sex your plant and understand differences between male and female cannabis plants.
tldr: we recommend starting out with feminized photoperiodic seeds
What's the best way to water cannabis in soil ?
It's a commonly asked question by new growers which this guide will help answer by understanding how watering works for cannabis plants and how to provide the best for your plants for top quality buds.
Water brings nutrients and minerals to your plant that will be absorbed by roots. Even if watering a plant can sound easy it is one of the most important step in growing marijuana. Giving not enough or too much water could damage your plant and ruin your harvest.
Over and under watering are common mistakes that can lead to diseases and deficiencies.
This guide will help you to understand your plant needs and avoid unforgiving mistakes.
Hey :)
So, you just flipped your plant to 12/12 flowering light schedule and are already wondering "when should I harvest?"
In this guide we're going to show you the golden rule for harvesting at the perfect time and why being patient matters 👌
Let's start with the basics :)
Trichomes are what it's all about;
these little resinous bulbs shining on the bud contain the reason we grow this plant:
cannabinoids (THC, CBD, etc.) & terpenes.
So, the best time to harvest is when the trichomes are ready 🔎
The following steps will show you how to tell when the trichomes are ready for harvest.
There are a lot of different growing mediums, they are separated in three major categories which are soil, soil-less and hydroponic.
The question is what growing medium is the best for growing cannabis?
Well, all those growing mediums provide good results with pros and cons which we will discuss in the following sections :)
tldr: if you are a rookie, lightmix soil is the best and most simple solution, even experienced growers use it.

One of the main issue with home growing is light power consumption, especially at a time where energy cost is on the rise.
Turns out light power consumption is easy to understand, checkout this short guide to learn how it works, and how to optimize your light power consumption.
Welcome to the website guide for the Cheapest Growbox Ever video on youtube!
In this guide we'll build a cardboard growbox around the Manual Dimmer Bundle.
This build does not need a controller or app, just plug it to power and you're good to go!
Welcome to the website guide of the Eket V4 build video guide.
This new edition introduces the use of the new LED rail holders.
The normal power usage for this build is below 35w total, which means less than $5/month for veg (4€) and $3/month in bloom (3€).
With a singled Ninja Bundle you can do 2 of these Ekets, in this case best is to do the setups with 3 panels per boxes, and take a low profile holder to attach a third LED at the top of the box.

Welcome to the wonderful world of open-source.
Where instead of multiple pre-designed models, you can make your own custom model from the sources!
“Wtf?” you might think. Well that’s what we’re going to see with this tutorial.
In short: you can download the plans on the website for free, those are for the “default” SGBox as seen in the video.
Thing is those plans have been generated from a 3d design tool, which is here: https://sgl.lol/a01ce
You will first need to create a free account here: https://www.onshape.com/en/products/free
Make sure you choose the right units on account creation, so mm for Lengths units, Degree for Angle units, and Kilogram for Mass units.
Then click the "Make a copy to edit" button top left corner of the sgbox design document.
And in this design tool, you will find a few parameters that you can change to customize the dimensions of various parts of the SGBox.
Since the beginning of SuperGreenLab the plan was to release a complete box. Just plug & play.
But since shipping complete furniture worldwide is not an easy and cheap task, we resorted to selling the electronics alone, so people could DIY their own.
Well, guess what we’re back at it!
Let me introduce to you, the SuperGreenBox.
It’s downloadable, easy to produce locally (google “laser cutting shop”), and easy to assemble.
No more power tools to use, no holes to make, no nothing. Just follow the guide and start growing😎
Welcome to the website guide of the Eket V2 build video guide.
With two separate chambers this build can do continuous supply in a very small package.
This guide is done with a small and a big eket, but you could do it with two large ones to allow longer vegging, in this case you can do the second eket for vegging with just 2 panels instead of 4.
The normal power usage for this build is below 50w total, which means less than $5/month for veg (4€) and $3/month in bloom (3€).
The new cardboard compression chamber of the blower allows for a quieter build and makes the carbon filter setup much simpler.
(The attachements below are also downloadable throughout the guide)
Did you know that the SGL app is also a grow diary? In this section we'll review and comment complete seed-to-harvest diaries.
Welcome to this first Diary Review!
Let start with this El Dorado OG from Paradise Seeds that grew in the Arcade Grow Box!
It mostly grew in a 60x60x80cm space.
Final yield was around 90g with a nice 45g bonus thanks to its clones.
This plant only received low stress training, with a little twist, it's actually planted from the side of the pot.
So basically the idea was to have it start horizontally, and then bend it around the pot to have a nice circle.
That was a fun experiment, will probably try it again, but with topping early on.
Become a better grower with high tech tools and accessories.
I’m not teaching you anything if I tell you that our plants are like our babies. And just like babies we’d like to keep an eye on them 24/24, even when away from home.
While you shouldn’t overprotect an actual kid, it’s bad for their self confidence, and makes fucked up teenagers; When it comes to plants, having a way to look at it anytime can save you some issues.
The camera we will be setting up is quite simple, it allows you to select the plant you’re monitoring, and will then take a picture every 10 minutes.
Setting up this remote camera will give you two things:
In this tutorial we’ll see how to set up a raspberry PI from scratch.
We’ll be using the raspberry pi for things like setting up a live cam.
This guide will work with any raspberry PI models, but we’ll be using a raspberry PI model zero w.

Welcome to the SGL grow diaries/assistant app :)
Follow along this guide to get started with the SGL app and initial set up.
Because we are working on creating the ultimate app for growers we need your help to understand how the app is used; thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Your data will not be shared with any 3rd parties.
We designed our LED panels to be as simple as possible to install.
To do so, we made them compatible with a widely used standard called VESA.
VESA is initially made to hang screens against walls, the holders are cheap and available virtually anywhere.
