GROWING 101
GERMINATION
Germination is the first step when starting from seed :)
This guide will teach you how to successfuly germinate your seeds with a battle tested method; the shot glass.
Seeds are made to survive through winter and sprout when 3 conditions are met:
Fill a small glass with luke warm water (75-80°F / 23-27°C). Tap water is fine, as long as the pH is not too high (7.3 pH is good).
Place your seed(s) on the surface, they should float.
Leave nature do it's thing, avoid touching them ;)
Place the glass in a completely dark place, a cupboard works well.
The process usually takes between 24-72hours.
Don't forget to label your glass if you are germinating different strains at the same time.
The taproot is the main root that will sprout from the seed, once it reaches 1-2cm (1/2 in) it's ready to be sown!
