How to assemble
a SuperGreenBox
Since the beginning of SuperGreenLab the plan was to release a complete box. Just plug & play.
But since shipping complete furniture worldwide is not an easy and cheap task, we resorted to selling the electronics alone, so people could DIY their own.
Well, guess what we’re back at it!
Let me introduce to you, the SuperGreenBox.
It’s downloadable, easy to produce locally (google “laser cutting shop”), and easy to assemble.
No more power tools to use, no holes to make, no nothing. Just follow the guide and start growing😎

Let’s start the assembly with a little explanation of the box’s design.
The box’s structure is composed of two halves. Once both halves are assembled, we will attach them together to have our main structure in place.
Gather the required parts to build the first half.
You should have:
Place the “Side” part flat, SGL logo facing down.
Then insert the part called “Plant-plate” into the dedicated slots. If it doesn’t fit, flip it 180°, the slots are not all identical.
Now insert two of the “Blocker-side” parts in the plant-plant part slots.
Place the steel plate like on the pic, this way you will be able to adjust the tightness of the magnet by changing its angle.
Now attach the blockers with the m4x16mm counter sink screws. Use the self-locking nuts.
Now repeat the same process to attach the “Tech-plate” part.
You should end up with something like in the picture.
Ok so now you can insert the second side, make sure the logo is on the outside.
And just like the first side, add the blockers, and screw them with the steel plate in place.
And to finish this half, add the “Corner” part in the middle holes, the top and bottom ones will be used for the LED panels.
And we’re done with this half!
Good job, now do it again for the second one.
Ok so now we have the two halves ready for the merge!
Place them vertically in front of each other.
Now you can attach them together with zip ties.
Alright, now let’s create the base.
So first step is to gather the required components:
Now take the “Base” and one of the “Blockers-bottom”parts.
Put the “Blockers-bottom” part on top of one of the “Base” part’s corners.
Place the little plastic parts called “Bottom-blockers” in their slots.
And now we can place the wheel and the m4x20mm screws to hold everything together.
You need to use the self-locked nuts and washers on the other side for this.
Good job, now do the same thing for the 3 other corners.
Ok now is time to attach the base to the box’s body.
Grab the necessary parts:
First step is to fit the body and the base together.
The best way to do that is to place the base on the ground and place the body on top of it.
You might need to slightly pull the sides of the box to insert the base.
Now we need to attach them together with screws.
First, insert the m4 square nuts into the small rectangular holes in the “bottom-blockers” parts.
And you can now screw everything together with the m4x18mm counter sink screws.
You can repeat this process for the eight screws.
Alright you now have a weird wooden box on wheels, you can even bring it with you anywhere you go!
Ok that’s useless, let's add something before taking her for a walk.
Let’s start with the LED holders.
Gather the required parts:
