3D printed SGL blower compatible carbon filter
Get rid of smells in small/medium spaces 👌
With its unique stackable design you can add or remove
Insert the honeycomb shape in the carbon filter container.
You can now pour a bit of carbon pellets in the container.
Make sure all of the honeycomb shape holes are filled with carbon pellets.
Make sure you don't go higher than the honeycomb shapce.
The carbon filter doesn't need to be over-filled to function, it's important that the air can go through each layer easily.
Now add a small layer of foam, any one will do, make sure the air goes through easily.
The point of this layer is to keep the pellets place and to allow the air to spread to avoid straight lines.
Now do the same of the other container. Then stack then together.
This is not mandatory if you have no smell issues, like during veg for example.
Now add the top layer to the carbon filter stack.
Now use a bit of cyanoacrylate glue (ie. loctite or superglue) to keep the duct in place.
No need to put too much, just a few drop in each corners should be enough. Then press the duct in place a few seconds.
Insert the zip ties in the small holes on both sides.
Use two other zip ties to lock them in place.
Just cut the head of each zip ties and use the head alone as shown on the picture.
And you're done!
You can now insert the duct part of the filter to your sgl blower.
